HAPPY BELATED SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!

Hey y'all! Hope everyone had a fantastic Super Bowl Sunday!

I was going to post last week and give y'all a few recipes before the big game but things got a little crazy around here. So, I decided better late than never! Besides who doesn't love talking about Super Bowl food?! Okay maybe it's just me... Anyways, here are a couple of my favorite game-day recipes!

Boiled Peanuts

Growing up my dad loved to make boiled peanuts! They're simple, salty and the perfect addition to any football game. This recipe is a southern specialty that anyone can prepare!

Ingredients

Water

1-1/4 lbs. Raw Peanuts (shelled)

1/4 cup Salt

Directions:

1. Rinse peanuts.

2. Place peanuts in large stockpot.

3. Add salt.

4. Cover peanuts with water.

5. Bring water to a boil and let simmer for 3-4 hours (depending on how soft you want them).

6. Drain and serve.

Tip: If they are not salty enough, add more salt and return to pot.

Hardtails B**** Dip - Copycat

This is another easy recipe my family loves to fix up for football games. We got it from a little biker bar in my hometown called Hardtails. They call it B**** Dip and it's absolutely delicious!
